Ingredients: Making of Thalipeeth
2 cups Bhajani flour
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
2 tbsp fresh coriander
1 chopped green chili
1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
Ghee/oil to cook
Instructions:
Mix Bhajani flour with the veggies, spices, and salt in a bowl.
Slowly add water to form a soft, yet non-sticky dough.
Make small balls, flatten each using a plastic sheet, and gently poke a few holes in the center.
Heat a tawa, grease with ghee/oil, and cook each Thalipeeth until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with fresh curd or spicy thecha!
Tips:
For a nutty twist, add sesame seeds or peanuts.
Swap onions for boiled potatoes during religious fasts.
